Children and Youth Groups
Mini-Disciples
Children in grades K-2nd are welcomed into our Mini-D’s group. This fellowship/activity group meets at various times during the year, as well as having “children’s church” every Sunday during worship. Mini-D’s participate in fun learning activities, games and Bible story time. Mini-D’s also go on various outings that can be just for fun or mission oriented.
Kids in Christ (KIC)
Kids in grades 3rd-4th make up our Kids in Christ (KIC) group. KIC kids are very active in community mission, fun outings and are active participants in worship as acolytes.
Jr. Disciples
Kids in 5th grade are part of the Jr. Disciples. Jr. D’s meet on Sunday twice a month from 4:30-6:00 PM. Jr. D’s are active in variety of ways. They participate in worship, mini-missions, fun fellowship outings and other church events.
Chi-Rho
Chi-Rho is a fellowship of youth in grades 6-8. Chi-Rho spends time in Biblical study, topical discussion, service projects, and having fun. The middle school youth characteristically face many issues of change in their lives. Chi-Rho provides the middle schooler a place within the church to explore issues of faith and spirituality. It also provides the opportunity for the middle schooler to define ones own personality and Christian character within a group of peers and committed adults.
Christian Youth Fellowship
CYF is a fellowship of youth in grades 9 -12. CYF spends time in biblical study, topical discussion, service to others, fund-raising and last but not least, having fun. It is the goal of the CYF leadership to provide a group in which young people feel comfortable and welcome exploring issues of Christian faith and teenage life. To provide a place for spiritual growth, “clean” fun, and relationship building to build upon the foundational experiences of KIC, Jr. Disciples and Chi-Rho.
