About Disciples of Christ

As Disciples of Christ, we believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. Using the Bible as our guide for Christian living, Disciples of Christ practice inclusive ministry, serving Christ as we feel called while striving for the unity of all Christians in the love of Christ.

Every Sunday Disciples of Christ celebrate an open Communion, inviting all Christians to partake. Disciples generally practice baptism by immersion; however, all forms of baptism are accepted for membership.

Although each Disciples of Christ congregation is independent, guidelines and support are provided by the larger DOC denomination, embracing unity through one faith in Christ.
